For chests of drawers and dressers being moved as-is, light clothing can usually stay in place, but we recommend removing anything fragile, heavy, or loose so drawers don't jam or spill during transit.

Set aside an "essentials" box for your first night, confirm parking access at both addresses, defrost/empty appliances, and make sure any dangerous goods or high-value items are set aside (see below) before our crew arrives.

Yes. We cannot transport dangerous goods such as flammables, explosives, chemicals, aerosols, paints, or firearms, nor perishables, live animals or plants, cash, jewelry, or other high-value/sentimental items. Please let us know in advance if you have anything you're unsure about.

Yes — label each box with its destination room and our crew will place it there on delivery, so unpacking is as simple as possible.

The earlier the better, especially for weekends and month-end. That said, we'll always try to accommodate short-notice and same-week moves — give us a call.

Yes, date changes are generally permitted. We offer one free change if notice is given within a certain timeframe (e.g., 7 days for local moves), subject to availability. For inter-regional moves it is a case-by-case basis and can result in re-quoting.

Once your storage booking is confirmed we'll arrange an access time with you directly — just give our team a call or email to schedule a visit.

We can put you in touch with a trusted cleaning partner for end-of-tenancy or move-out cleans — ask our team when you book your move.

Yes — we offer full or partial packing and unpacking as an add-on to your move. Let us know when requesting your quote and we'll include it.

It depends on the size of your home, access at both ends, and distance travelled. A typical 2–3 bedroom local move takes half a day; we'll give you a time estimate with your quote.

Our standard quote covers normal access conditions. Extra charges may apply for difficult access such as multiple flights of stairs, long carries, or lack of parking within 15 metres — this is confirmed with you upfront, not added as a surprise.

Local moves are typically charged hourly from when the truck arrives at your first pickup, covering travel, loading, and unloading. Inter-regional moves and storage are quoted based on volume, distance, and duration.

For residential moves, payment is due on completion, before unloading at your final destination — we accept cash or card via mobile EFTPOS. Commercial/account customers may be offered credit terms at our discretion.

Your move includes limited carrier's liability cover for loss or damage caused by a vehicle accident in transit. We recommend speaking to your contents insurer about additional cover, or asking us about optional transit insurance.

Note any damage on the delivery sheet at the time of delivery, then email us in writing within 24 hours with photos and details. Claims are assessed under our carrier's liability cover once the full move price has been paid.
